i shot my baby down

it's gonna be a perfect day

heart's skipping beats.

i was five and he was six
we rode horses made of sticks
he wore black and i wore white
he would always win the fight
bang bang
i shot him down
bang bang
that awful sound
bang bang
he hit the ground
bang bang
i shot my baby down

this is an odd entry
cause today was an odd day.
but is okay, i'll live.
